Key Advantages

  • Traditional Hungarian table grape variety.
  • Large, attractive yellowish berries.
  • Pleasant and distinctive Muscat flavour.
  • Crisp and juicy flesh.
  • Vigorous growth and good productivity.
  • Tolerates drought relatively well.
  • Suitable for pergolas and larger trellises.
  • Grapes can remain on the vine for an extended period and have good transportability.

Growing Characteristics

Attila is a vigorous and relatively undemanding variety that can grow successfully on different soil types. It performs best in a warm, sunny and protected location, particularly because of its relatively late ripening.

Its winter hardiness is only moderate and the variety can be susceptible to frost and bunch rot, so a favourable planting site and good canopy ventilation are recommended. With proper care, it produces large, crisp and pleasantly Muscat-flavoured grapes.
