Product Description

Anna is a Hungarian-bred table grape variety, developed from a cross between (Glória Hungariae × Erzsébet Királyné Emléke) and Pannónia Kincse. It is particularly valued for its large attractive clusters, large yellow-green berries, crisp texture and pleasant aromatic flavour.

Main Characteristics

Ripening time: Medium-early, generally ripening from late August to early September.
Berry: Large, oval, approximately 6–7 g, with an attractive yellow-green colour.
Cluster: Large, shouldered, branched and moderately loose, averaging around 550–570 g.
Flavour: Pleasant and aromatic, with a harmonious sugar-acid balance and crisp flesh.
Seeds: Seeded, with relatively large seeds.
Use: Excellent for fresh consumption.

Growing Characteristics

Anna is a vigorous and highly productive variety with dense foliage. It performs best in a sunny, warm and protected location, and its vigorous growth also makes it suitable for cordon and pergola training.

Its overall disease resistance is moderate, and it can be sensitive to powdery mildew, so regular plant protection and good canopy management are recommended. Its frost tolerance is around −18 to −19 °C, making a protected planting site preferable in colder areas.
