Product Description

Pegazus is a modern, early-ripening table grape variety that stands out for its impressive large clusters and particularly attractive pink berries. It is a vigorous and highly productive variety, making it an excellent choice for both home gardens and commercial cultivation. Its berries are crisp, juicy and pleasantly sweet, making them ideal for fresh consumption.

Main Characteristics

Ripening time: Early, generally ready for harvest in the first half of August.
Cluster: Large, conical and moderately loose, typically weighing 700–1500 g.
Berry: Very large, oval or slightly elongated, weighing approximately 12–18 g.
Colour: Light pink, developing a more vivid pink to raspberry-pink colour when fully ripe.
Flavour: Harmoniously sweet and juicy, with crisp flesh and a subtle fruity aroma.
Seeds: Contains 1–3 seeds.

Growing Characteristics

Pegazus is a vigorous and consistently high-yielding variety. It performs best in a warm, sunny location, where the berries develop an intense pink colour and high sugar content. With appropriate pruning and careful regulation of the crop load, it can produce exceptionally large clusters with an attractive, marketable appearance.

Resistance and Hardiness

Pegazus has moderate to good disease resistance and can be grown reliably with standard plant protection measures. Thanks to its good frost tolerance, it is also well suited to cultivation in regions with colder winter conditions.
