Key Advantages
- Early-ripening table grape.
- Pleasant and distinctive Muscat flavour.
- Attractive golden-yellow, crisp berries.
- High and reliable productivity.
- Good resistance to major fungal diseases.
- Very good frost tolerance, reported down to approximately −24 °C.
- Grapes can remain on the vine for an extended period without significant loss of quality.
Growing Characteristics
Palatina is a vigorous and productive variety that performs well in sunny locations and is relatively undemanding regarding soil and site. Its good disease resistance means it generally requires less plant protection than many traditional table grape varieties.
