Black Magic is a very early-ripening, dark-berried table grape variety, increasingly popular for its striking appearance, excellent flavour and reliable productivity. Its large, deep purple-black berries have crisp, juicy flesh and a pleasantly sweet flavour. Thanks to its very early ripening, the fruit can be enjoyed as early as mid-summer.

Cluster Large, conical and moderately loose, typically weighing 500–1000 g.
Beere Large, oval or slightly elongated, weighing approximately 8–12 g.
Farbe Dark purple to black, with a pronounced waxy bloom.

Wachstumseigenschaften

Black Magic is a vigorous and consistently high-yielding variety. It produces the best-quality fruit in a warmer, sonniger Standort, where the berries develop their deep colour quickly and achieve a high sugar content. The clusters tolerate transportation well and can remain on the vine for an extended period without significant loss of quality.

Widerstandskraft und Robustheit

Black Magic has mäßige bis gute Krankheitsresistenz and can be grown reliably with appropriate plant protection measures. Thanks to its good frost tolerance, it is also well suited to cultivation in Central European conditions.
