Viktor Container-Grown Grapevine

Viktor is one of the best-known modern Russian table grape varieties, developed by breeder Viktor Krainov. Thanks to its very early ripening, exceptionally large berries and impressive clusters, it has become one of the most popular premium table grapes in Eastern Europe. Its elongated, finger-shaped berries and harmonious, sweet flavour make it an excellent choice for both home gardens and commercial cultivation.

Main Characteristics

Ripening time: Very early, generally ready for harvest in early August.
Berry: Very large, elongated and finger-shaped, with an attractive pink to raspberry-red colour.
Seeds: Contains 1–3 seeds.
Cluster: Large, conical and moderately loose, typically weighing 700–1500 g, and under favourable conditions may reach up to 2 kg.
Flavour: Harmoniously sweet, with crisp, juicy flesh and a pleasant fruity aroma.
Use: Excellent for fresh consumption.

Viktor performs best in a warm, sunny location. Due to its vigorous growth, it benefits from a strong support system and regular pruning. Thanks to its good resistance and very early ripening, it is well suited to cultivation in Central European conditions.
