Product Description

Rizamat is a world-famous table grape variety of Uzbek origin, renowned for its exceptionally large clusters, elongated pink berries and outstanding, harmoniously sweet flavour. It is one of the best-known premium table grape varieties and an excellent choice for growers looking for impressive size, attractive appearance and exceptional fruit quality.

Main Characteristics

Ripening time: Medium-early, generally ready for harvest from late August to early September.
Cluster: Very large, conical and moderately loose, typically weighing 700–2000 g, and under favourable conditions may grow even larger.
Berry: Very large, elongated cylindrical to oval, weighing approximately 12–16 g.
Colour: Light pink, developing a more intense reddish-pink colour on the sun-exposed side.
Flavour: Harmoniously sweet and juicy, with crisp flesh and a pleasant, rich flavour.
Seeds: Contains 2–3 seeds.

Growing Characteristics

Rizamat is a vigorous and exceptionally productive variety. It benefits from long pruning and an adequate supply of nutrients to fully develop its enormous clusters and large berries. It performs best in a warm, sunny location, where the fruit develops a high sugar content and excellent quality. Its clusters tolerate transportation well, and their highly attractive appearance makes Rizamat a popular variety for commercial production.

Resistance and Hardiness

Rizamat has moderate frost tolerance, approximately –18 to –20 °C, and may require winter protection in colder regions. Its disease resistance is moderate, so regular plant protection treatments are recommended. With appropriate care, however, Rizamat produces exceptionally impressive, high-quality fruit that stands out among table grapes for both its remarkable size and excellent flavour.
